X-Teams Leadership & Development Program for People and the Corporation

Each X-team program is customised to individual organisational or department objectives,  goals and internal programs. Programs are integrated into the work procedures, locations and  staffing requirements ensuring minimal disruption and maximum contributions from all  participants, sponsors and executives involved.X-teams is a fundamentally different approach as it delivers a program that is uniquely  designed around your executives and organisation's needs. By combining executive and  organisational development with action learning, productivity and change, X-team delivers a program of  engaging activities for future leaders in complex organisations. Designed by Michael Schrage of MIT and Allan Ryan and David Buisson of the Hargraves Institute, X-team programs included leading experts to deliver a hands-on, practical experience that delivers new ideas that will easily align with your corporate goals.

People involved with the X-Teams Leadership Program include a program sponsor, relevant executive leaders and participants’ sponsors as well as participants themselves. Program delivery includes facilitators, coaches, and industry experts specially selected to deliver the specific program outcomes.

Leadership Program projects are typically ‘hothouse’ environments that test the participants with real issues of importance to the organisation and presentations of ideas to executive leaders as part of the normal course of business initiatives.

Key Outcomes that this Program will Address

The challenge is to develop a program that delivers action learning, strategic project development designed to develop individual leadership capabilities, while simultaneously supporting organisational development by applying talent to key business challenges. The outcomes are:

  • To develop individual leadership capacity by exposing participants to the strategic realities of senior leadership.
  • To address and develop individual strengths and weaknesses.
  • To provide an environment for action learning during the project (coaching is an integral part of the leadership and project development).
  • To identify recommendations and plan actions for change.
  • To develop creativity in thinking, critical enquiry, insightful questioning and reflective listening skills and to assist participants in uncovering unused skills.
  • To establish a dialogue and positive constructive work environment cross- functionally and across hierarchies.
  • To build the corporate culture and help reinforce a common leadership culture that promotes understanding and provides opportunity. 

Program Agenda

The program will be run over a period of between 6 weeks and 3 months as determined in agreement with the Company. Proposed timing is as follows:
