Hargraves Institute Registration Terms and Conditions

Cancellation and Refund Policy:

Cancellations for all registrations must be advised in writing to the event coordinator, Lisa Mallyon, This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it , 14 days prior to the event date. A refund of registration fees paid or invoiced, less an administrative charge of 10%, will be processed following receipt of cancellation advice 14 days prior to the event date.

Cancellations after this date will not be refunded however may be transferred to another name. Member exclusive events may only be transferred within the membership.

Event numbers are limited by venue capacity. Hargraves reserves the right to refuse registration if the event is full or if the member hosting is a direct competitor. Hargraves may revise training dates if insufficient registrations are received.

A number of our events may be photographed and/or videoed and Hargraves reserves the rights to use the material for marketing purposes.  However if you do not wish to be included in any marketing materials you must notify us before the event.

Cancellation or Changes by Hargraves Institute:

Should Hargraves Institute be required to cancel an event we will provide as much notice as possible to all confirmed delegates. Any monies paid to Hargraves Institute will be refunded in full and any invoices issued relating to the cancelled event will be deleted.

Hargraves Institute accepts no liability for the loss of any monies by delegates relating to cancelled events.

Should an event be revised following cancellation by an advertised speaker, Hargraves Institute will make every endeavour to secure a speaker of equal calibre.

Hargraves Institute reserves the right to change an event's venue (within the same capital city) if required to more accurately cater to delegate numbers.

Hargraves Members currently receive the following Membership Benefits

Each membership receives complimentary registrations in NSW, Queensland and Victoria to facilitate participation across their membership, with details provided to the Primary Contact for them to assign. For the period 1 June 2011 to 30 June 2012, these complimentary registrations are:

Workshops: 3 complimentary one day workshop registrations (one per state) ie, 1 for Sydney, 1 for Melbourne, 1 for Brisbane (valued at $585 each)

Congress: 3 complimentary registrations to each Congress, ie, 3 for Sydney, 3 for Melbourne, 3 for Brisbane

Please note that the following conditions to apply to these offerings:

1. Additional workshop registrations are available at member rates.
2. Additional Congress registrations at member rates will only be offered if venue capacity permits.
3. Multi day workshops may use the complimentary registration as a $585 discount off the total member workshop registration fee.
4. Registration numbers for all events is limited by venue capacity and will be allocated on a first in, first served basis.
5. Cancellations for all registrations made via the complimentary registration code must be advised in writing to the Event Coordinator, Lisa Mallyon, This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it 14 days prior to the event date. Cancellations meeting these terms will have the complimentary registration credited back to your membership. Cancellations after this date will deem the complimentary registration to have been used.
6. Hargraves will monitor allocation of complimentary registrations and will seek approval from the primary contact for all complimentary workshop registrations received through a member contact.
7. Utilisation of any complimentary registrations is subject to membership being current, ie, there is no outstanding membership renewal invoice.
8. May not be used in conjunction with any other offer.
9. When the below Discount Codes are used, Hargraves will respond with acceptance or not of this discount.

The discount codes for the complimentary workshop registrations should be entered when registering for the workshop. Each code may only be used once by each membership, and Hargraves will advise if the code has already been used. Codes are:

In the event of unforeseen circumstances, Hargraves Institute accepts no responsibility for loss of monies incurred by delegates, nor do we accept any liability for injuries/losses of whatever nature incurred by participants and/or accompanying person, nor for loss or damage to their luggage, computers and/or personal belongings. Delegates should make their own arrangements with respect to personal insurance.

Code of Conduct:

Event attendees are required to comply with the Code of Conduct included in the Hargraves Charter on our website.

Privacy Policy:

Hargraves Institute is bound by the National Privacy Principles under the Privacy Amendment (Private Sector) Act 2000. The personal information disclosed by you to us will be used for the purpose of identifying you and confirming your participation. If applicable, financial information disclosed by you will be used only for the purposes of effecting the transaction to which it relates, and will be kept securely until legally able to be deleted. Otherwise, the personal information disclosed will be used by us to communicate with you about our events, meetings and services.
