Dr Karavdic has been working in a variety of marketing consulting and management roles for more than twenty years both overseas and in Australia. Currently he is leading Growth & Innovation program at AMP. Prior AMP he was Head of Retail Bank Strategy at St.George Bank where he introduced award winning innovative product - St.George Sense.

 

In parallel with his full time engagement in the corporate world, Munib is Conjoint Professor in Marketing at Australian School of Business at UNSW. He has published a book and several papers in prestigious international academic journals.

 

Munib’ areas of interests are in innovation, strategy and e-commerce and he is conjoint professor in marketing and innovation at UNSW.

"Living the Innovation Program at AMP"

This presentation will outline the Innovation Program at AMP from the perspective of a first time participant.  A review of the 2012 activities of the AMP Innovation Board including crowd sourcing idea challenges, interactive idea labs and business led implementation is complemented by a firsthand discussion of the experiences of a raw innovation advocate.  This presentation focuses on the experiences, challenges, fears and learnings of a leader given the freedom to be creatively restless.
