Process Innovation Fellowship Meeting hosted by Cerebos

12 people met at Cerebos for a tour of their facilities and to view their lean management processes. The visit included participating in team meetings which start at the section level, then roll up to site level, and then by tele-conference on a ANZ basis during which daily issues are resolved, outstanding items are followed up and assistance sought from other sites if required. The meetings are kept to 10 minutes in duration and are led by the individuals and not by management.

At the end of the visit the team commented on best practices (which were around charting of production and process improvements) and also commented on areas where improvements could be considered.

The next visit will be at ResMed in February 2012. Details to follow.
